Description
A few details:
Referenced in guide des meilleurs vins de France RVF 2022: Il y a de l’or… dans l’air est un vin vigoureux, bien en place et plus fin dans ses tanins que par le passé.” Noté 91″
Why this name? In french we have a an expression that says: Orange in the air… or storm in the air… it means “there’s a risk of a heated argument between two people” as is often the case with the Klurs.
Its story: a wine made from Muscat and Gewurztraminer grapes, macerated for just over 3 weeks in September 2019 (berries and stalks), then pressed, kept on fine lees in 3-year-old barrels, and finally bottled unfiltered and sultfied during the summer of 2020.
Our suggestions: with some toast, a drizzle of olive oil and Collioure anchovies…. as well as cheeses and desserts.
To be enjoyed with a totally open mind for something unusual 😉
And also:
– temperature: around 10
– technical info: 1.5 l bottle, transparent white, corked. Indigenous yeasts, unfiltered, non-sulfited.
